This page explains exactly what Marocraft collects when you shop with us, why we need it, how long we keep it, and how to ask us to delete it.

1. Who We Are
This policy is published by Marocraft LLC, registered in New Mexico, USA, at 1209 Mountain Road Pl NE, Ste R, Albuquerque, NM 87110, USA. Our products are sourced and packed in Morocco, in Marrakech. For any question about your data, write to contact@marocraft.com or message +212 665 448 540 on WhatsApp, Monday to Saturday, 09:00-19:00.
2. Information We Collect
You give us your name, email address, phone number, shipping and billing address, the contents of your order, and anything you write to us. If you create an account, we also keep your sign-in details and your order history so you can find past purchases. Your browser gives us basic technical data — IP address, device and browser type, pages viewed — which we use to run the site, measure how it performs, and block fraud. We never receive your card number.
3. How We Use Your Data
We use it to take, pack and ship your order, and to send you a tracking number by email as soon as the order is dispatched. We also use it to answer your questions about delivery, returns and exchanges, to prevent fraudulent orders, and to meet accounting and consumer-protection obligations. Marketing emails are sent only if you have explicitly agreed to receive them, and every one carries an unsubscribe link.
4. Payment & Card Data
Marocraft never sees or stores your card number. Orders in Morocco are paid cash on delivery, so no payment details are collected online. International orders are paid with Amazon Pay, or by bank transfer through Wise or Mercury; the secure Wise payment link sent with each order also accepts card, Apple Pay and Google Pay. Card details are entered on the provider's own secure page, and we receive only a transaction reference — enough to confirm the payment and to issue a refund.
5. Where Your Data Is Stored and Who Sees It
Orders, accounts and customer-service records are stored in Google Firebase (Firestore) on Google Cloud infrastructure. Product photos are served from Cloudflare R2, which holds no customer data. We share your data only with our shipping partners (name, address and phone, so they can deliver), our payment providers (transaction data, never card numbers), our analytics providers as described in section 9, and public authorities when the law requires it. We never sell or rent personal data.
6. Data Retention
Order, invoice and customer-service records are kept for as long as tax and consumer-protection law requires, typically up to ten years. Account data is kept until you ask us to close the account. Marketing-list data is kept until you unsubscribe. Analytics data is aggregated and kept no longer than 24 months.
7. Data Security
The whole site runs over HTTPS, and account and order records sit behind Firebase access rules so that you can only reach your own data. Internally we work on a least-privilege basis: staff see only what their task requires. No system is perfectly secure, but we work to keep the risk low and will notify you if a breach affects your data.
8. Your Rights
You can ask for a copy of the personal data we hold about you, have it corrected or deleted, restrict or object to certain uses, request a portable copy, and withdraw any consent you have given. Email contact@marocraft.com and we will reply within 30 days. We may ask you to confirm your identity first, so that nobody else can request your data.
9. Cookies and Analytics
Essential cookies keep your cart, your session and your sign-in working; the site cannot function without them. Google Analytics tells us how many people visit and which pages they read, in aggregate. The Meta Pixel runs only when it is enabled on the site, and only after you accept analytics and marketing cookies. You can refuse everything that is not essential from the consent banner, and change your mind later at /cookies.
10. Changes to This Policy
We may update this policy as our practices change. The 'Last updated' date at the top of this page always reflects the version in force. Material changes are announced with a banner on the store.
